Results from AGM 2020

Last Friday was the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). Held virtually on Zoom, it was the first time where we didn't get together. We usually encourage members to attend the AGM with an end of season knees up. However, we got the admin stuff done and had a great time, the highlight being one of Rose's now infamous pub quizzes. If you ever get another chance to take part in one don't miss it. I haven't laughed so much in a long time. Thank you to everyone who attended and all those who couldn't make it but voted online in advance.
Changes to the Constitution
We had three proposed changes to the club's constitution.
The first was due to British Triathlon's requirement for a COVID-19 Officer.
The second to create a Diversity and Inclusion Champion to help us respond to feedback and to assist us in fulfilling the club's ambition to be as welcoming and open as possible.
The third modification aims to streamline the Committee by merging two existing officer roles into one.
All proposals were passed, and we will be amending the constitution accordingly.
New Committee
Then members volunteering for the new Committee stood for election, the new Committee was elected, the 2019/2020 Committee stood down, and the newly voted in Committee took over.
